The Silver Bowl Awards began in 1979 when Volunteer Centers coordinated a statewide volunteer recognition event to acknowledge outstanding volunteers in our communities. The awards are given to individuals from each county in the state of Utah in appreciation of their volunteer efforts and outstanding service.
